Sustainability
Trespa International, a pioneer in building panels, was among the first to earn ISO 14001 certification, highlighting its commitment to continuous environmental improvement through a clear policy and effective management system. At the heart of Trespa's operations is a dedication to sustainability, viewing nature as central to their efforts.
Since making sustainability a core strategy in 2010, Trespa has focused on transitioning from merely reducing negative environmental impacts to actively creating positive value. This commitment is evident in initiatives like 'Trespa Second Life,' which repurposes facade panels for new uses such as outdoor furniture, rather than discarding them.
Trespa's approach to sustainability emphasizes the production of high-quality, long-lasting products, thereby minimizing environmental impact over time. The company takes pride in the 50-year expected service life of its Trespa Meteon panels, a testament to their durability and sustainable design. Furthermore, Trespa aligns with BREEM standards, a leading global rating system for sustainable building design, construction, and operation, underscoring its dedication to environmental excellence.
