SpectraForm System Overview

SpectraForm proprietary cladding façade systems have been specifically designed and tested to comply with the requirements of the NZ Building and Fire codes and have undergone rigorous seismic testing. They offer the specifier the flexibility to help create energy efficient and healthy façade options with a positive impact on long term performance and value.

The aluminium cavity systems provide ventilation and drainage with intelligent fixing and panel options that enable almost limitless design options.

The SpectraForm systems have been designed to offer flexibility with ease of install and low maintenance in mind. There are 2 system options with a choice of selecting an open joint system with concealed fixings or an open joint system with colour matched exposed fixings.

  • SF45 is a vertical rail system installed on site with adjustable fixing brackets to allow for width variations within the cavity. Featuring open panel joints that are fixed with colour matched rivets.

  • SFUT is a unitized cassette system which is manufactured off site, is inclusive of the rail support system and is delivered to site as a finished panel ready for install. Featuring open panel joints with concealed fixings.

  • SpectraForm SF45 is a unique non-combustible, aluminium vertical rail system specifically designed for use with MondoClad or UnoClad solid 3.0mm aluminium panels that are fixed with colour matched rivets. The SF45 vertical rails are fixed to adjustable wall fixing brackets creating a cavity width of between 52mm to 75mm, with larger brackets available if a wider cavity is required. This offers greater flexibility when designing for either new buildings, or the recladding of existing façades and means SF45 can offer an economical solution for straightening existing structures.

SpectraForm SF45 is ideally suited to multi-level applications with complex design requirements, such as parapets, columns and feature eyebrows. The rail system can be specifically designed to achieve an increased rail spanning capability to suit the structure.

The MondoClad or UnoClad panels, up to a maximum size of 3.0m x 1.2m, can be configured either vertically or horizontally with 10mm open expressed joints that do not rely on sealant to achieve a weathered façade. A creative use of colour and panel widths can enhance even the simplest façade.

SpectraForm SF45 is tested to and or compliant with the requirements of:

    • AS/NZS 4284:2008 including structural and seismic testing

    • Meets or exceeds the values used in the E2/VM2 (Branz EM7) test

    • Relevant sections B1, B2 & E2 of the NZBC

    • Meets the requirements of the NZ fire code as a non-combustible cladding facade.

  • SpectraForm SFUT System Overview

SpectraForm SFUT is a unique non-combustible aluminium, unitised cassette panel system specifically designed for use with MondoClad or UnoClad solid 3.0mm aluminium panels. The cassette panels are factory assembled to a unique lock-in rail system and are delivered to site ready for installation. This system features concealed fixings and open expressed joints that do not rely on sealant to achieve a weathered façade. The SFUT system offers greater flexibility when designing for either new buildings, or the recladding of existing façades and can be fixed to a packed rail system to achieve an economical solution for straightening existing structures.
